Authorities in Kaunas are investigating multiple recent incidents involving damaged or partially stolen vehicles. At approximately 1:05 a.m., local officials were notified that the front headlights of an Audi car had been stolen from a vehicle located on V. Krėvės prospektas.
The total value of the damage sustained by this car is currently being assessed by authorities. A separate report detailed a break-in that occurred at a different location. Between 10:00 p.m.
on July 1st and 9:00 a.m. on July 2nd, the BMW car parked on Partizanų street was targeted. During this timeframe, perpetrators broke into the vehicle and successfully stolen the steering wheel and the dashboard.
The estimated financial loss resulting from this theft is approximately 2,000 euros. In response to these incidents, preliminary investigations have been initiated by local law enforcement agencies to determine the circumstances surrounding the damage and the items taken.
