Beginning July 2nd, consumers can purchase popular cuts of pork, including tenderloins, backbones, and roasts, at reduced prices of up to 25% at “Maximos” stores. This price adjustment is attributed to the implementation of centralized meat preparation processes. Currently, two “Maximos” locations are handling the fresh cutting of Lithuanian meat sourced from suppliers.
Marius Tilmantas, Director of the Purchasing Department at “Maximos,” stated that the goal is to allow customers access to high-quality, fresh Lithuanian meat at more affordable rates. He added that the company continuously seeks methods to reduce operational costs, ensuring that these savings are directly reflected in the final consumer prices. Despite the centralization of some preparation tasks, the standards for product range and quality control remain unchanged.
Customers will continue to find that all products offered are exclusively fresh and sourced domestically. The initiative aims to provide tangible savings on staple pork items while maintaining the commitment to quality Lithuanian sourcing. These updated pricing structures are designed to benefit the consumer through streamlined supply chain management, ensuring that cost efficiencies translate into immediate savings at the point of sale.
