Later that day, on Vasarų street in Marijampolė, the same BMW was involved in another incident, colliding with a Toyota RAV4 driven by a sober man born in 1964. In both instances, the driver of the BMW fled the scene. Subsequent investigation revealed that the BMW was being driven by an individual born in 1972 who had a measured blood alcohol content of 2.29 promille.
Separately, a significant incident involving a suspended motorcyclist occurred in the Rokiškis district, causing disruption that impacted the Vilnius district. This individual was found to have a BAC of 3.36 promille. The aftermath of this event required substantial police resources; seven officers were transported to the police station in Panevėžys, and a sober soldier was also taken to the station at the wheel.
