Two new competitors have joined the Mitjet Baltics pilots, adding significant competition to the event. The additions include Jesperas Brunhojus Jensenas from Denmark, who is the founder and owner of the JBJ Racing team, and Aras Kvedaras, a rising Lithuanian rally talent. The Mitjet Baltics circuit has a history with the Kvedaras family, as Aras’s father, Rokas Kvedaras, has participated in the event since its inaugural races.
The arrival of these new drivers has heightened the competitive nature of both sprints. During the qualifying race, Aras Kvedaras, who finished as the first runner-up, experienced an early incident on the first lap. Specifically, during the initial turn, he reportedly made an error while shifting gears.
Following this, the leading group of racers—consisting of P. Jankavičius, V. Reškevičius, P.
Degtiarenka, and J. Jensenas—managed to break away from the main pack of competitors. The participation of these experienced and emerging drivers ensures a high level of intrigue for the upcoming Mitjet Baltics races.
The performance of both the established and new competitors, including Aras Kvedaras, is expected to make the Baltics event highly competitive.
