Specifically, the financial support could be extended to individuals who are unable to drive themselves and do not possess a driver’s license, but for whom a specially adapted car is deemed medically necessary.
The proposed revisions aim to base the allocation of compensation on practical need rather than solely on standardized assessment criteria. By focusing on the functional requirement for mobility assistance, the legislation seeks to provide more comprehensive support through the provision of necessary specialized vehicles, thus improving the quality of life for eligible persons and families.
