The contribution of state-owned enterprises to the state budget last year was almost 231 million euros

Analysis of recent financial contributions indicates a sustained level of support for the national economy. During the most recently completed year, the “Ignitis Group” was reported as the largest contributor to the state budget, providing €74.2 million. Overall, twenty-five various entities (VVIs) collectively contributed €230.9 million to the state budget this year.

These funds were derived from dividends, profit payments, and various taxes. This level of financial return shows stability, remaining above the €230 million threshold since 2022. Looking ahead, the adjusted 2026 budget projections, according to the Management Coordination Center, detail the expected contributions from key state assets.

While the “Ignitis Group” is anticipated to remain a major contributor, several other entities are projected to provide significant funding. The “Lietuvos geležinkeliai” group (LTG) is forecast to contribute €25.6 million. Following this, the State Forestry Directorate is estimated to add €24.1 million.

The Klaipėda State Maritime Port Authority is expected to contribute €18.1 million, and the Registrars Center is projected to contribute €12.6 million. These figures provide an overview of the anticipated revenue streams supporting the state budget in the coming year.
