Launagiai represents the most extensive residential development project in the history of Vilnius, covering an area of approximately 85 hectares. This undertaking aims to create a fully integrated urban district equipped with all necessary infrastructure and public amenities to support a thriving community. To date, two detailed development plans, spanning roughly 59 hectares, have been developed and made available for public review.
Furthermore, preparations are advancing for a third conceptual plan, which is slated to cover an additional 25.67 hectares. Alongside the planning stages, the company is actively engaged in design work for the site. The process for realizing the development progressed following the conclusion of the architectural tender in 2024.
Subsequently, contracts were awarded to nine distinct architectural firms to handle the design of specific sections within the area. The collective value of the design work commissioned for the launagiai development is estimated to be around €20 million. This comprehensive approach underscores the scale and detailed planning involved in transforming this significant portion of Vilnius into a modern residential hub.
