The local government recently executed a property transfer and assignment act, formalizing the transfer of assets from the National Museum of Art of Lithuania (LNDM) to the Neringa municipality. The transferred property includes six distinct structures located on Švyturio street: one administrative building, two production buildings, and two economic buildings, alongside a well situated in the area of Nida. The residual value associated with this transferred property exceeds 228,000 euros.
This transaction adds to the municipality’s existing holdings, as the Neringa municipality assumed control of the remaining portion of the complex near Urbo kalno’s foot. According to the municipality, the initial property transfer related to this complex took place in 2019. The transfer solidifies the municipality’s administrative control over key real estate assets within the area.
The inclusion of multiple buildings—spanning administrative, production, and economic functions—provides a significant enhancement to the local infrastructure managed by the Neringa municipality. The transfer highlights the ongoing management of valuable real estate within Nida. While the local area has seen various economic activities, including the restoration of attractions like “Zuikio daržas,” the official documentation confirms the transfer of tangible property.
This acquisition of buildings and associated land resources is managed through the formal legal act, ensuring the municipality oversees the comprehensive management of the transferred property base.
