Two individuals have been arrested following the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics linked to drug distribution networks operating in Klaipėda and other areas across Lithuania. The police responded to suspicions after officers encountered two young men, aged 19 and 21, in a park located on Herkus Manto Street in Klaipėda. Upon initial contact, police discovered 13 sealed bags containing psychotropic substances identified as 3-CMC near the pair. Further investigation revealed an additional bag containing 13 similar bags of 3-CMC located near the young men within the vehicle they occupied.
Following a thorough search of the car, the law enforcement officers recovered a substantial cache of drugs. Specifically, they found 94 bags of 3-CMC and 31 bags of cocaine. The operation resulted in the arrest of the two men and the confiscation of these large amounts of controlled substances, indicating a significant effort by the police to curb illegal drug trafficking in the region.
