Police reports detail two separate incidents of theft that occurred in the early morning hours in Vilnius. The first incident took place on a Sunday evening, near an unspecified street in Vilnius, around 4:20 a.m. According to the Police Department, an unidentified male, born in 2003, was targeted.
The individual was reportedly stripped of an ornamental chain, sprayed with gas, and subsequently left the scene. The material loss associated with this initial event was reported at three thousand euros. A second, separate incident occurred shortly after, around 5:00 a.m., on Tvankstos street in Vilnius.
Near the entrance of an apartment building, unknown persons attacked and assaulted a man born in 1999. During the assault, the perpetrators stole an ornamental chain and a handbag. The handbag was reported to contain a bank card valued at 570 euros, alongside a personal identification card.
The total documented loss from this second robbery was 700 euros. The victim from the second incident received immediate medical assistance at a local hospital and is currently receiving outpatient care. Both incidents highlight instances of property crime occurring in the area.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding both events.
